Xochistlahuaca is one of the indigenous villages with more textile tradition. Located in southern Mexico, in the state of Guerrero, the women work from pre-Hispanic times the most refined techniques in the back-strap loom. With the generous support of the Marvin and Sylvia Rubin Family Foundation, the last two years we have been working with La Flor de Xochistlahuaca, a cooperative of 37 weavers, to create a collection of new designs.
